Don’t Overlook 3 Important Things When Buying a Dishwasher

Does your dishwasher sound like a 747 is taking off? When putting away your clean plates do you see soap film and spots? If so, it may be time to trade in ol’ faithful and shop for a new unit. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at what you’ll find.

However, finding the right dishwasher model can be overwhelming. So we’ve narrowed it down to the top 3 important things when buying a dishwasher:

#1 Noise

You’ve already lived through your dishwasher sounding like a 747. So when thinking about noise – keeping the noise down on your dishwasher can be a big deal especially if you have an open concept kitchen. If you want the quietest one out there then upgrading to a Bosch dishwasher it is! At Bosch they believe that quiet operation is just as important as sparkling clean dishes. Their precision engineering makes Bosch the quietest dishwasher brand in the U.S. For you, that means never having to wait until going to bed to run the dishwasher. And when hosting a dinner party you can start the dishes right after dinner, instead of waiting until everyone leaves. Because life doesn’t have to stop just because your dishes need to be cleaned.

#2 Time

You shouldn’t have to wash your dishes, before you wash your dishes. So you can skip the pre-rinse with Bosch. You’ll be able to start your dishwasher and walk away. With Bosch dishwashers their sensors continually scan and check the progress of dishes throughout the cycle, and powerful, precision spray arms go to work targeting every item of every load. So that when your dishes are done, so are you.

#3 Flexibility

How flexible do you need your dishwasher to be? Load the way you want, how you want. If you have a variety of dish sizes and hosting needs, consider a dishwasher with adjustable racks you can raise or lower for champagne flutes or the turkey roasting pan. We all have that one item that never seems to fit the way we need, but the flexibility offered by Bosch eliminates that concern once and for all.

Knowing you’re getting the best appliance out there is a major bonus. And no matter how much the big box stores are selling that Bosch dishwasher for, you’ll be able to get that same great price with Sherman’s electronic price tags.

Does it actually clean. Is it well designed. Is it reliable. Is it quiet. Is it economical.

I have a Bosch and I have to rinse before washing. It may take it off one dish but it puts it on another.

I put in a Bosch in 2012 and I still love it! Quiet, zero maintenance (so far), excellent cleaning so long as you do not overload. The normal wash cycle is around 1.5 hours, but I often opt for the express cycle for light loads. No problem! I’d buy another Bosch.
